We study continents, oceans and seas. Each member of the group receives a country, state or island which he or she then researches. At a subsequent meeting the members each have 10 to 15 minutes to report back to the rest of the group. Each member also produces a written record of their research including a map of the area and the national flag.

In two years we have covered the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, the African continent, South and Central America, the Caribbean islands, North America,North Pacific Ocean, Australasia, Asia and we are  working on Europe after which we will deal with the United Kingdom.

We hae now completed our trip around the worlds countries and are now looking at he major rivers on each of the continents. We have finished north and south America and are now working on Australia and Africa.

We meet on the first Friday of each month at 2pm at Willow Court Community Room, (between numbers 11 and 12 Willow Court), Off Wilton Ave, Franche, Kidderminster DY11 5AU.  See Map

April. 2019 - we are researching worlds rivers at present and have just discussed the Murrembidgee in Australia and the Senegal, Congo, Blue Nile and zambesi rivers in Africa.
