Satellite Singers

We are a group who enjoy singing for pleasure. We meet fortnightly on a Thursday morning, 10am - 12pm,  at St Ambrose Parish Centre, Birmingham Road, Kidderminster DY10 2BY.     See Map

The parish centre is behind the church and accessible from the passage at the side of the church or for car access through St Ambrose Primary School entrance in Leswell Street.

We don't take ourselves too seriously! Our songs are guitar led and sometimes "a cappella".

We sing a variety of songs, including popular songs from the 1950's onwards, and some folk songs. Members are encouraged to make sugestions of songs they would like us to include. Some of the songs we have sung recently are: "Runaround Sue", "Happy Together", "Sloop John B", "Da Doo Ron Ron", "Don't be Cruel", "We Can Work It Out", "Annie's Song", "The Fields of Athenry", "Great Pretender", "The Wonder of You".

The emphasis is definitely on having fun and we have no pretensions to be a choir - indeed, we are strangers to perfection!
