The doors will open at 2.00, so the two & nine's please queue on the left for the circle and the one and sixes queue on the right for the stalls. And a warm welcome to The Film Club. It is intended to show a wide range of mainly old films, some are even silent, comedy films, general interest and historical films, cartoons and educational films in fact a wide selection, some of which we can then talk about. It is not my intention to show full length films and in fact limit the length of items shown to under an hour and usually around 30 to 40 minutes for the longer items depending on the content. The intention of these film club meetings is to make them enjoyable social occasions and possibly to have discussions as to how some of the images and films that you will view came into being.
