Zimbabwean Proverb If you can walk you can dance, if you can talk you can sing.
Singing is good for you. Keeps your brain active, helps your breathing, and gets you in to a group of friends. If a misguided teacher in your past has told you that you can’t sing then this group is for you. We work on the principal that if the note that you are singing feels right then it is right. If it is not the same note as the person next to you then it is probably a harmony. Harmonies are very much encouraged! We work with a lot of simple songs, so that you DON’T need to hold a sheet of paper in front of you with words and share out a lot of the words that change for each verse. You don’t need to be able to read music. The aim is to be able to sing your heart out, without the need for your glasses and to move a bit to the music as you sing.
We meet at 10am every other week on a Thursday at St Ambrose Parish Centre, Birmingham Road, Kidderminster DY10 2BY. See Map
The parish centre is behind the church and accessible from the passage at the side of the church or for car access through St Ambrose Primary School entrance in Leswell Street.
